I am an artist that uses dance to practice my craft. 

 

I create new worlds in my performances and choreography. These worlds are created through movement vocabulary, spatial patterns, and character development. I strive to make each world different than the last, even if just slightly. It is inside these worlds that I work.

 

My worlds thrive on using momentum as a spark for movement. Through the use of gravity, my dancers rise and fall quickly, traveling and breathing along the way.

 

 I revel in creating rather than in the created.
